Has anyone had their G70 long enough (or enough miles) to perform a transmission fluid change. I like to change the transmission fluid in my vehicles around 60,000 miles. I am not at 60,000 miles, but was just trying to plan ahead. When I contacted the "Hyundai" dealership that sold the brand new Genesis in 2020, they informed me that it was a lifetime fluid and never needs changing. The fluid might labeled as lifetime, but all fluids break down. After further discussion with the service advisor, I told him that I wanted the fluid changed anyway. He called back within an hour and told me it would be $750 before tax. I asked why so high and he stated the fluid alone was over $500. Has anyone else experienced this issue? My G70 is a 3.3T RWD.
Thanks, Tom

For anyone else out there thinking that a sealed transmission backed by a 100k and or 10 years of misusing your paddle shifters isn’t a real thing…you’re better of removing the lever to your hood release just incase you find yourself in a weak moment. Plus it’s extremely bad luck…imagine your partner starts wearing the ring on the pinky finger before you reach the alter…same thing as pulling the lever on a 2012 Sonata with a lifetime powertrain extension. Just refrain from ruining greatness is all I ask. This forum is either going to love me or hate me real fast but I just want everyone to know that my short membership has been an absolute blast and cheers to anyone that has had a love or hate relationship with HKG…in proper order but with the same spirit. All three care more than any automaker that can only survive by connecting to your apple or Samsung wallet via subscription based f7!;ckery…go ahead and rant about the digital key card not working on your 5 year old never updated head unit while an entire family looses their heated seats driving across the pass in a (insert any model) bmw! No joke!
