What I Drive
2024 CT5-V
#1
About 2 months ago I was in the market for a "new" car. I had been driving a CTS-Vsport (420 hp) that I loved, but I reasoned that I'd been driving it for 9 years, and it was time for a change. I immediately went to the Genesis in my mind because I've admired the styling of the cars since I first started seeing them years ago. However, along came this 2024 CT5-V with almost no miles for a great price, and I jumped in with both feet.

About 2 weeks ago I had a pretty severe accident in the CT5-V, and I'm going to find out the first of next week whether or not my insurance company is going to total the Cadillac. So, I'm trying to get my ducks in a row with more information on the G70's. I know I want the 3.3T because, at 320 hp, the CT5-V has been a huge letdown after the Vsport.

I'd love to hear the pros and cons of the G70's. I've heard that the 2022 was a very good year for the 70's, but I'm not sure in what way. I'd love to hear what options you wish you had that you don't have or what options you have that you think you couldn't live without. This would include everything from convenience to performance features.

If money were no object, but you still wanted to spend your money wisely, are the different models (Sport Advanced, Sport Prestige, and Launch Edition) really worth the extra money? Speaking of Launch Edition G70's, I've found two for sale. One is matte gray with red interior (which is as it should be), but the other one is white with black interior. There's a significant price difference between the two (I wonder why- LOL). If I hadn't done a little homework, I might have easily fallen for that lie, and it makes me wonder what else I should look out for.

Thanks for whatever time you spend reading and answering my inquiry!
