20" Wheel Question

I cant seem to find if 245/40/20 Front and 275/35/20 Rear will work on GT2 AWD. Any info will help .. thanks again..

The 275 will not work on the rear, they are too wide for the 8.5 wheel width
The 245 40 will be too tall will throw off the ride height.

hey thanks for the reply but this will be on a niche aftermarket rim not on stock rims..
Fronts are 20x9
Rear 20x10

Even without offsets, those tyres are much bigger than stock - over 2.5" larger diameter front and rear. This is because you're going to higher profile tyres, increasing width at the same time and increasing wheel size all at once. The profile is basically the sidewall height expressed as a percentage of the tread width - you're going to a higher percentage of a larger number, and then putting it on a larger diameter wheel.

Those sizes will throw your speedo out significantly - you'll be going over 10% faster than the speedo reads.

Even if this wasn't an issue, the wheel offset is then important as robz32 has indicated, because you're trying to get much wider tyres to fit into the same wheel arches, and depending on offset, that will put them closer to your guards, suspension, inner wheel lining, or all of the above, and if the offset is bad enough, will almost certainly contribute to rubbing. I'd guess that no matter what the offsets, those size tyres are simply not going to fit anyway due to the extra ~2.5 inches of diameter anyway.

@Manaz is right, going with a taller sidewall will not work, maybe a 35 front & a 30 rear will work. The main thing you want your outside diameter to be about the same as your stock tires or it will throw off your speedometer. I'm running 19's with 255/295 an my speedo is about a mile an hour off, i went with that size rim because I was going to lower my car an inch.
