Delicious Tuning - Kia Stinger Tuning and Dyno Charts

Took the words right out of my....fingers?....lol The stinger was dynoed on a Dyno dynamics, more commonly known as the "heart breaker" dyno. It tends to read about 12% lower then a Dynojet.

Any info yet on the 3.3 engine internals?

No hard data yet on measurements, and material composition and material strength of the engine components. Time will tell

    intake

You will be better off by keeping the factory boxes as those are true CAI's. The exposed filers on the current intakes for the Stinger will only hinder performance as the warm air in the engine bay will be getting sucked in, even with heat shields installed. A proper solution will be one that...

    Spark Plugs

Interesting....Highly doubt the plugs on the US spec or any spec (where 3.3 TT is offered) are any different. Manufacturers usually stick with the same parts for their engines, as this will reduce their costs and reduce troubleshooting time when something fails under warranty. Thanks for...

When will you perform the first oil change?

I would say around 6k miles is good for the first oil change, that's twice my usual interval for my cars btw, but being a new, low mileage engine, I don't see any harm being caused by leaving the factory oil in there that long. After that I am doing it every 3k miles. Keep in mind there a lot...

How much horsepower will make you happy with the Kia Stinger?

400-450 will make me happy, if it doesn't affect reliability too much. Then again once you get used to it you will want more and more. [biggrin]
