- 2019 Genesis G70 2.0T
My 2019 G70 2.0T makes a random noise, like a rapid ratatat--sometimes a split second long, sometimes 7-8 seconds long. Very jarring. But I can't identify a pattern--sometimes accelerating, braking, with a/c, without a/c, city driving, highway driving, engine cold, engine warm. My mechanic of 25 years seems to believe it is an actuator misfiring, but their diagnostic equipment is a little too out-of-date and they recommend a visit to the dealer (ka-ching). Anyone experience this or know a less expensive solution? Otherwise, totally loving the car! Thanks
