I keep hearing a lot about foam cannons. Are they worth using on the Stinger?

Absolutely...not only on the Stinger but on any vehicle that you wish to keep looking good.

Keep in mind that the foam cannon a long with proper wash practices and a some paint protection, is what is going to keep the paint looking like new.

For a power washer the MTM foam cannon is bar none the best you can buy, albeit not cheap.

For a regular hose the Griot's garage foam cannon is the beset option.

I have both and they provide a nice thick foam, almost like shaving cream, which is what you want form it.

Yeah, I second the use of foam canons. I have a Chemical Guys (CG) one and it's ok with my power washer but could be better (might actually be my pressure washer[:(]). Also use the CGs two bucket method with grit screens in the bottom when washing your car.
I have yet to pick my Stinger up and I have already told the dealer I don't want the car groomed.
Dealer groomers are trained to be quick not fussy. My brother is one and he told me how they operate.
If you let the dealers service dept groom your car you will end up with swirls and lines in the paint over time.

Any soap will foam decently in a good foam cannon. The special foam soaps will foam more than others. The Griots stuff is good, but pricey. For day to day washes I use Meguiars Hyperwash.
